MAC Lipstick Swatches

I thought I would share some of my favourite MAC lipsticks. I excluded the limited edition lipsticks in case anyone would like to use these swatches for future reference. All the lipsticks are part of the permanent line.

MAC lipstick swatches

•Stone – a unique muted greyish brown with a semi matte finish. It’s neither moisturizing nor drying. It doesn’t leave your lips flaky.

•Smoked Purple – is described as an eggplant purple with a matte finish. It sometimes looks black in dim lighting. I love the colour but it applies patchy.

•Rebel – a pink-plum with a Satin finish, which makes it easy to apply. It’s a great fall/winter berry shade.

•Diva – my favourite fall/winter shade. It is described as an intense reddish-burgundy with a matte finish.

•Russian Red – an intense blue red, similar in colour to Ruby woo. It has a matte finish but it is not as drying as Ruby Woo.

•Ruby Woo – looks amazing on everyone I’ve seen wearing it. MAC describes it as a vivid blue-red. I would describe it as the perfect red. However the finish is very matte, which leaves your lips quite dry.

•Flat Out Fabulous – a bright medium-dark magenta pink lipstick with a matte finish. It is a versatile colour and it stays on for most of the day

•Girl About Town – is described as a bright blue fuchsia with an amplified crème finish. It is my go-to pink lipstick.

•Ravishing – is a clean light peachy, coral with a crème-sheen finish. It glides on effortlessly and the pigmentation is great.

Which is your favourite shade?
